Job Description: Nesco Resource is seeking 1st shift, entry-level Assemblers for our manufacturing client in the Schenectady, NY area. These are full-time, temporary 6-10 week assignments. The responsibilities for this position will include using blueprints, sketches, and oral instructions to assemble parts in order to form complete units or subassemblies. This will include specialized operations such as welding and in-process testing, utilization of hand tools, small power tools, and other special equipment. Requirements: High school diploma or GED required Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment preferred Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time.
